I understand that the potato-launcher activity involves compressed or stored energy, projectiles, equipment handling, noise, moving parts, and an outdoor target area. These conditions can cause property damage or serious injury. Participation is optional. Registration alone does not authorize participation.
I agree to follow all posted rules and staff directions, remain inside designated areas, wear required protective equipment, and stop immediately when directed. I will not load, handle, aim, or discharge any launcher until staff have inspected the equipment and granted equipment clearance. I will never aim a launcher at a person, animal, vehicle, building, or outside the designated target area.
Participant-supplied equipment and event-provided equipment are both subject to staff inspection and operating limits. SebaHub may refuse or stop participation for any reason. Staff clearance does not guarantee that equipment or participation is risk-free.
If I am signing for a minor, I confirm that I am the minor's parent or legal guardian, consent to the minor's participation, and will provide the supervision required by event staff. This guardian permission is not a representation that all rights belonging to a minor can or have been waived.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, I accept the ordinary risks of this voluntary activity and release SebaHub, the site owner, event staff, volunteers, and their representatives from claims arising from those ordinary risks, except where a release is prohibited by law. This document does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
I authorize reasonable emergency assistance if needed and understand that I remain responsible for providing accurate participant and emergency information to staff. I have reviewed this exact document before signing and have had the opportunity to ask questions.
